Ravneet ChowdhurY
CEO, Oman, Standard Chartered
Having worked for 12 years with Standard Chartered, Chowdhury comes to the sultanate with loads of experience. He served in Kenya as executive director and head of global markets for East Africa. Prior to that he was the head of global markets in Botswana and the head of treasury sales in India.

Before joining Standard Chartered, he worked with American Express and ABN Amro Bank. A chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), he went on to do an MBA from Henley Management College in London. He is looking at expanding the bank’s franchise and making it more aggressive.

Navneet KasbekaR
CEO, Al Kamil Power Company
Having spent 25 years in Oman, Kasbekar has worked in variegated capacities in different businesses. A graduate of Sydenham College Mumbai, he went on to do his CA from ICAI. He started his career in Oman with Al Yousuf Industrial Enterprises and rose to become its finance manager. From there, he moved on to Oman Printers as its general mana-ger. His next job as general manager and director of Muscat Real Estate saw him getting hands on experience in hotels and real estate. In January 2001, Kasbekar came on board as the finance director of Al Kamil Power Company and from there he has now moved on to the corner left office.

Vanessa DolaN
Account Director, Zeenah
Dolan was with Strawberry Frog ad agency before joining Zeenah. She joined the eight member Stawberry Frog team in Amsterdam in 2000, and was instrumental in building it up into an international advertising agency with 150 employees across Europe and the US. She worked as a client servicing executive on accounts like Mitsubishi Motors and Sara Lee in Europe. Having finished her schooling in Australia she joined the ad industry to work with some of the biggest global agencies like J Walter Thomson and DDB Needham where she handled blue chip clients like Ford Motor Company. “I had worked in Australia, Europe and the US and wanted a new challenge in the Middle East,” says Dolan.
